In New York, Sri Chinmoy celebrated 85th birthday by putting up 70,000 candles on special birthday cake. The interest thing is that the person wasn't able to blow all the candles so they used fire extinguisher to blow off the candles.

4. Story of Red Velvet Cake

Red velvet cake is known as 'Recipe of Revenge'. Once a lady went to a Restaurant and ordered a Red velvet cake and enjoyed having it. She liked the taste and asked the recipe of the cake for which the restaurant had charged around $100. She got enraged and widely spread the recipe for revenge.

In Ancient America, most of the young girls followed the belief that keeping fruit cake under pillow will help them in getting handsome husband.

6. Fastest growing recipe search


According to Google, Cupcakes are the fastest growing recipe search.

7. World's largest birthday cake

This cake is one of the world's largest birthday cakes made in Las Vegas. It almost weighed 6.18 tonnes which is equivalent to baby elephant's weight.

8. Cake walk

Cake walk is a dance form in which the winners are awarded cake as the prize.
